When something is broken, it helps enormously if you include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot is worth a paragraph.
Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions, then Instant Film Maxx, then Cancel Subscription. The app also has a Manage Subscription link in its own settings screen that takes you to the same place. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.
I paid already, but the app is asking me to subscribe again.
Tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. Your subscription is attached to your Apple Account, so make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still does not come back, write to us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every purchase and every refund for App Store apps. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request one there. We cannot issue it for you, but do write to us if the app let you down, because we would rather fix the problem.
Where are my pictures stored, and are they backed up?
Inside the app, on your iPhone. They are not uploaded anywhere. That means deleting the app deletes them, so turn on saving to your photo library, or export the ones that matter, if you want them kept safe.
Why does it ask for my location?
Only to print a place name, such as your city, onto the picture as a stamp, the way a dated instant print looks. It is entirely optional. Say no and the app leaves the stamp off. Your coordinates are never stored or sent to us.
The camera is black, or the app says it has no camera access.
Open the Settings app, scroll to Instant Film Maxx, and turn Camera back on. iOS only asks once, so if it was declined the first time it has to be switched on manually here.
Can I delete a picture I already kept?
Yes. Open your stack, tap the picture, and delete it from there. If you had also saved it to your photo library, that copy is separate and stays until you delete it in Photos.
